5th and 6th Grade Scientists at Work!

First Week of School

These first two days of school have been incredibly busy and exciting.  It all started with the Red Carpet Welcome of our students yesterday.  The 5th and 6th graders are practicing science skills in science class. Each class did a mini lab on the first day of school to demonstrate the skills of observation, estimating, predicting, recording/organizing data, and more.  

The 5th graders are learning about the story of Creation.  Ask them about what book of the Bible the story come from.   Also see if they remember who wrote that book of the Bible.  

The students have settled into a routine, and I am anticipating great things from them this year.

Welcome back to a new school year.  We are very excited about this year, and we know you are too!  This year will prove to have many opportunities for each of you to grow, learn, and share!  We are looking forward to seeing all of you on Monday, August 25th for our Supply & Picture Day from 2:00-6:00!
